Dd1 didn't enjoy doing actions to songs. She was singing the songs beautifully in tune from a tiny age, but only did actions for a brief time in reception year. I think she really couldn't see the point!
My DD1 went to rhymetime every week for two years and never did it. and she still won't. DD2 is 17 months, and only starting to do actions for a few favourites in the last few weeks. I wouldn't worry, she'll be doing other things. My dd2 can't do any words in songs, although she knows the tunes.
Ds could only do wind the bobbin at that age. Now he is nearly 2 he never stops singing different songs with the actions! The latest is old McDonald and apparently he has lions on the farm!
Tee hee my 14 month was singing wind the bobbin up to himself while he was bfing. He never did it in groups just when we were home together and now only on the tube when seated in his buggy
