Screaming

my DS is 17 months

he has recently started screaming all the time,not crying tantrum screaming,just screaming practically loud enough to blow your eardrum out ! he thinks its hilarious

he seems to do it more in public and today i was shopping and old ladies were tutting and rolling there eyes at me

ive tried whispering to him as i read somewhere to do that,ive tried ignoring him and asking him to stop

any advice on tips on what i can do plz? has anyone elses child done this

I would completely ignore it and try to distract him. As for people tutting and rolling their eyes - completely ignore them too, they will try to criticise whatever you do!
