Do I need to brush DS's gums when weaning even though no teeth?

Just that really.

I dont think that you do, just make sure they drink plenty of water. You might want to introduce your child to a toothbrush - I used Mam brushes as they have a small 'teething' chou at one end and a brush at the other. I found that letting my DD play with this made the whole tooth brushing thing far easier to introduce as soon as her teeth started to come through.
