Good cups for a 16 month old/weaning off milk in a bottle

Hi all,
Sorry if this topic has been repeated many times before, but I need some advice as I'm struggling to get my 16month DS to stop having his morning and evening milk in a bottle (he drinks water out of a Tommee Tippee non-valved cup during the day fine).

There are so many cups on the market that I find looking at all of them really confusing, particularly as so many of them for older babies still have the health warnings on them about prolonged contact causing tooth decay, and there are so many ones for different ages.

What are the best cups for children his age in your opinion?

Many thanks.

we used the avent magic cup and a cow patterned cup for milk for ds. Both have valves that can be removed to make it free-flowing but I kept the valves in so they were less messy.

The nuby cup has a flexible silicone spout, and is non spill without it being difficult to get liquid out of it

this one

We used a Tommee Tipee cup with a straw very similar to this www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/explora_active_straw/

I second the cow patterned cup. Doesn't leak and is robust. I got mine in Tesco.

Why don't you just use an open cup?

Hi, Its an open cup but when my two DSs were little I loved my doidy cup. I used it along side a tomee tipee (sorry not sure about spelling) with the slip top spout and 2 handles

Thanks for all the suggestions. Will try some of them out. Yes I may try an open cup as ds would drink out of a glass if I let him!!
