My 7yo DD is bossy! She is a bright, sporty and very able child but is extremely competitive. She competes over everything with her older brother (9yo) and with her friends. How can I help her manage this and not be so competitive when friends come to play. If she loses or doesn't get her own way there are tears and she gets very cross often shouting at me or others. When I talk to her about how she feels/what has happened she just cries and we get nowhere. She can't seem to control her emotions or understand that her tone/actions can be upsetting and offputting to others. Any advice welcomed!!
