Completely pfb question, is this normal?

my ds is 7 mo and generally a very happy and contented baby. However, he whinges and cries when he has his face wiped after his food and also when he has his arms put through straps or sleeves. I just thought this was normal but my fil commented the other day that he was whingy and fussy. Do you think this is normal or could it mean possible sensory issues etc? Sorry for the pfb-ness!

I'd say quite normal. Oh and don't worry about being pfb, we all are!!

Grin Oh lovey, he's so normal.

Imagine sitting there with a full stomach, sated and happy and then a wet cloth descends and flumps across your visage. Not pleasant. And at 7mo, there's this delicious sensation known as 'fuck me I have arms' and while they're flapping and enjoying this realisation, somebody comes along and fiddles with the impulse. You'd gripe a bit too.

Sooooooooo normal.

It's normal! If he's starting to move around under his own steam he'll hate anything that keeps him constrained. My DS is 2 next month and since he started crawling he's been a nightmare to pin down for any length of time! :o
