Nail biter - age 2

I've recently noticed DS1 - who is a great little toddler, happy, confident, bit of a ladies man - has started to bite his nails. I've only actually caught him in the act a couple of times (though judging by the state of the nails he's been quietly nibbling in private) and there's no obvious pattern as to when or why. Anyone else experienced this? Do I ignore and hope this too will pass? Help!

i would ignore it - dont make and issue out of it :)
he should stop when he is a bit older or in his own time but as its not really harming anyone then i would just leave it for now :) x
