Vomiting and teething. Connected?

My 8 month old DD went through a starnge phase a couple of months ago.
Everytime bedtime, I would give her her bottle before bed and she would vomit everywhere in huge, unbelieveable quantities.
It was an incredible amount of sick.
She was fine before it happened and afterwards. She continued to eat and drink normally and was happy and playing as usual.
The health visitor had no clue why this might be.
It coincided with her cutting her first teeth but it never crossed my mind the 2 may be linked.
The vomiting stopped after about 2 weeks.
Fast forward to now.... She's teething again. Very drooly, sore bum, runny nose, chewing her fingers and this morning she's just thrown up, again, huge quantities.
She's eating, drinking, full of beans. The only other out of place thing was she has had a disturbed nights sleep... She's normally a brilliant sleeper.
I've googled and it says vomiting is not a sign of teething.
Anyone else had vomiting whilst LO is teething or is this just a random thing babies do?
Any advice appreciated.

Hey Queen, My DS had projectile vomiting the whole time he was teething ! He also had bright pink cheeks, a fever, runny nose, sore bum....it was a trying time Grin

Baby Nurofen was the best for him, he had chewy cold rings & those sachets from Boots for teething....think they were camolmile ?

Once the tooth / teeth appeared the symptons stopped (as if by magic). If its any consolation, DS is now 7 and has lost / gained teeth and there hasn't been any drama at all !

Thanks Northumberlandlass so many people have told me it's not connected to teething but I was convinced it was... Seems I could be right and definately in for a tough time!!

My DD is nearly 9 months and teething, and has been sick 3 times this week after her bedtime bottle, loads of it and like you say seemed fine afterwards (as it was me covered in all the sick, not her!). My health visitor told me to give her less milk for that bottle which seems to have worked the past few nights, she's eaten all her dinner and I've given her 5oz instead of 7oz. I guess she just couldn't handle all of that food/milk in the space of a few hours so maybe it's not about the teething after all...
