my 15 week old son have just this week started to constantly rub his hands by the side of his head? Sometimes both hands and sometimes just the one? He has also started to stick his tongue right out, giving it a good wiggle...as a FTM is this normal?? Worried he is trying to tell me something or it might mean something...??

Is he rubbing his head with his hands? He may just be experimenting with doing things voluntarily rather than automatically (ie when he wants to) - alternatively if he has 'symptoms' (like disrupted feeding or similar) then it might be that an ear hurts or something?

Could he have an itchy head? Or an ear infection? Or be teething? Quite likely he's just figured out how tto rub his hands on the side of his head and will do it constantly until he learns something new in a couple of days.

It could be because he's teething? Babies can rub or pull at their ears when they're teething.
