Screeching - anything I can do?

Ds (7 mths) is discovering his voice - lively when it'd babble, not so much when it's high pitched, octave spanning screeches. These seem to come when he's pulled himself to standing so I figure it's self congratulatory. I assume I just have to grin ANC bear it, but is there anything I can do to shut him up help him to the next linguistic level? Grin

Gah, stupid phone. Obviously its 'lovely when it's babble' and Ds is not a member of the ANC...

Duct tape. Grin

Sorry, facetious I know, but there's nothing you can do. They don't learn volume control till they're about 2, and even then frequently forget.

Hmm. I thought that might be the case. Perhaps I can find some jaunty Bob the Builder themed duct tape so it won't look so bad... Grin

Oh, I remember the days of the dying pterodactyl. They do grow out of it!
