Comfort Pure Muslin

Firstly apologies because I'm not sure where is the right place to post this.

I got a Comfort Pure muslin square as a freebie through the post (I think!) about 18 months ago. It has a square silky label in one corner with the logo on.

My DD has decided this is the only muslin that will do and won't be parted from it. I am desperate to track down a spare and wondered if any other MNer got one and doesn't need it any more?

You would be doing me a huge favour.

If they don't, you could always try phoning Comfort, asking to speak to their marketing dept and explaining. IME there is always a random half box of each old promotion shoved in a filing cabinet/under someone's desk. I bet they would be happy it had gone down so well and glad to get rid of a few.

No reply from Unilever yet so your kind offers are very much appreciated. We had a close call when it got left in a shop today - fortunately it was a quiet one and it was still there when we realised!

I'd send you ours, but for some reason I tried out a set of fabric pens on the corner, which is now fetchingly and uniquely striped!

As muzzys go, it's a nice one - softer than usual and the label is all silky ... can see why your DD likes it!

We definitely had one and DD was not a very muslin-y baby so it wouldn't have gotten used much... I'll have a look in the morning when she's awake

Reply from Unilever says they don't have any left but are glad my DD liked it so much! You ladies are now my only hope!

at Reshape. That's the sort of random thing I'd have done with a freebie - no way DD would accept that one!

A thousand thank you's funtime, it arrived this morning. Been through the wash to make it less new and we'll see what DD thinks later!

Ah, that one's not from me, dh forgot to take it to the Post Office this morning. Which means that you'll have 2 spares when mine arrives !

So...who is the mystery benefactor ?

Well, it was brand new. Still nice and white (unlike DD's current one!) and you could read the writing on the label! Gave it to DD straight from the dryer after her other one had been dragged through the mud feeding the ducks and apart from asking what the writing was (on the label) she accepted it straight away! Magic. It will make life around here so much calmer and straight forward! She apparently told DH that mummy put a new label on.

Thanks must be due to MrsMiyagi or LarryAddler instead.

Any more spares in any condition gratefully received!

Hello all, I am in desperate need of this comfort pure muslin square, my son loves it!! But now looks like a piece of rag! Covered in holes, if any of you could help me out as I noticed that some of you have one, I've got my fingers crossed that you haven't chucked any away....I too have emailed "comfort" but no help there!! It's got the silk logo in the corner, the same one the lady above described...if any of you could please help. Many thanks, X

Hi there, I am in the same position as the other ladies on here. The muslin came in the bounty pack when she was born. Is has a silky 'Comfort' label in the corner. She is now 3 and calls it her 'favourite muslin' but it is falling apart and in a terrible state. It has been patched so many times but is now thread bare and we really can't save it now. I emailed the company but they say they don't have any more!! If anyone has one in the back of the cupboard I would be sooooooo grateful.
