Bit more advice if you want it
we have huge issues with our little man so we are having to do things to help every day.

Depends on his age but watch the movie'Flushed Away'
let him see Mummy and Daddy doing poos and not getting upsetor anything. Let him then have a look in teh loo and flush it away.
when he does poo lots and lots of praise and we then say he has a happy tummy now he has pooed and he gets a treat when he does one.
We have these special cookies that are jsut for after a poo they have coloured smarty thingson them and he loves teling us what colours are on it and usually just eats the smarties and not the cookie.

We have dogs and we talk about them doing poos and we explain how everyone poos and there is no need to get upset and everyone feels better afterwards etc etc

Hope that helps

Have to normalise it make them see it is a good thing to do and for the parents to not be embarrassed about looking at it or discussing it etc
