How long does it take to go from rocking to crawling?

Pretty much as the title says, really! :)

Cant remember from the other DCs. But dc is now rocking and going backwards. Very frustrated baby! Has occasionally accidentally fopped forwards, but just wanted to know how long it took to 'click'. Knows to get up on knees to get something..but then goes backwards!!

Thanks!

how long is a piece of string?

there is no right answer. it will take as long as it takes til your ds feels ready to crawl. try encouraging him with toys.

My DS is doing the same! rocking on all fours and going backwards. He's very frustrated too!! He cries as he does it!! He has never liked 'tummy time' from a few weeks old. We are trying to get him to persist.

We have flooring and I only realised how much this has delayed him crawling when we went to his nan's house and he got up on all fours immediately having not done it b4!!
