Square / Rectangle tins

I'm making carrot cake for an event, and want to do it in a rectangle so I can cut it into squares like tray bakes rather then big wedges.
What size baking trays should I use, and do you think the recipe I normally use needs tweaked? Maybe just keep an eye on the time in the oven because it wouldnt be as deep as a circular tin?
Many thanks

3QE, you really need to give a bit more information. What size tin do you normally use? How big is the recipe? How deep is the cake you currently do?
If you work out the surface area of the round pan you normally use (πr2 - Pie R squared), then work out the surface area of the largest rectangular pan you have and multiply up your recipe accordingly.
