Coffee and walnut cake. Mmmmm.
Lemon drizzle cake
Buttercream in a kitchen aid is the best

Chocolate chip cookies and pancake batter are always made in the Kitchenaid in this house. It works great since both recipes require a few minutes of mixing and then rest the batter in between.

Mine is used practically daily. I sometimes stroke it when I walk past!

WinkyWinkola Fri 28-Jun-13 20:00:49

I love the look of kitchenaids but are they purely for cake making?

Wheresmycaffeinedrip Fri 28-Jun-13 20:01:56

Me too luc blush do thinks I'm nuts stroking it

Angelik Fri 28-Jun-13 20:20:06

ooh is it totally fab? dh and I stare and dribble at them whenever we see them but can't justify the purchase. also think it would get on our nerves cluttering up work surfaces (which I am constantly clearing of junk so it's not like they are super pristine) but they are too heavy to get in and out of cupboard. we keep saying we'll get one when we move. in 5 years time hmm
in the meantime happy to hear about other stuff you whizz up in your.

krazipan Fri 28-Jun-13 23:42:43

I've stroked my too luc and caffeine smile. It was expensive but I'm telling myself it's an investment piece! My DS loves pancakes so will have to whip some up this weekend.

I am another stroker here, we make bread with it every day, plus baking, pizza dough, will do more when I have more time. it is used at least once a day and does not clutter up my side it raises the value of my house.

Good for mashed potato too.

uggmum Sat 29-Jun-13 08:08:38

I bought the mincer attachment and I mince all my own meat now. It's much better than shop bought mince.

Pizza dough, pancakes and buttercream come out great too.

krazipan Sat 29-Jun-13 14:28:25

How much was the mincer uggmum? Do you get a lot of use from it?

Awakeagain Sat 29-Jun-13 14:31:56

I have a pasta roller attachment, which I love, love, love.
It's like play dough for adults.
