If I were to make normal vanilla cupcakes with small fudge chunks in and then iced them with buttercream mixed with melted cadburys fudge fingers to make a chocolate fudge topping, do you reckon they would taste ok?
Any other ideas for not hugely chocolatey fudge cupcakes gratefully received! Thank you!
I have had limited success with putting chunks of things into cakes. now I tend to make a batch of normal cakes, let them cool, use an apple corer to remove a bit of the cake, fill with something. Usually nutella or salted caramel <drool> but a bit of melted fudge sounds just as good.
