stupid question i agree, but im making meringues, normally i would just grease the cake tin, but im worried they might stick to a baking tray? Please help! TIA
I don't want to set you up to have broken meringues, but I have to say I don't usually use grease proof paper- just dollop the goo straight Onto decent non stick tin. I don't know if there's a reason why foil wouldn't work? But personally I'd go straight on the tin and remove carefully with a spatula once completely cool. Good luck!
If you have plain printer paper you can grease it with a little oil/butter until translucent, wipe off any excess then use as normal greaseproof.
