Harry and Grace seem really popular in northampton area where i am, i love Freya, i have chosen this if i have a girl when concieved and i like Xander, but i was a buffy the vampire slayer fan, dont know if that is positive or not

I love Freya but it is very popular.

Similar names that I prefer would be Faith, Eve, Eva, Emma, Anna, Amelie, Hanna, Erin.

I don't mind Alexander/Xander but prefer just Alex.
I don't like Reuben, Ryden, Rylan, Elijah or Xavier( I know three girls called this)

What about Ryan, Robert, Rhys, James or Zachery.

I would say all of the names except Skyla, Ava, Reuban, Rylan and Rydan are popular.

I'm biased towards Xavier for obvious reasons. It all depends on how you are planning on pronouncing it, because if it's Ex-Ay-Vee-er
it's bloody awful.

I like Ava, Amelia, Freya and Sofia (prefer Sophia) and Madeline (prefer Madeleine).

Grace and Emily are a bit dull.

Skyla, Tayla Emilia are grim, the spellings are awful.

I like Isaac, Alexander, and Xavier (only if pronounced Zav-e-air)

Oliver, Harry, Joseph are very over used.

Ruben (prefer the Reuben spelling) and Elijah ? I?ve got a bit of an aversion to Old Testament names so not keen.

Rylan and Ryden sound made up.

I like Freya and Xavier best.

As I said, interesting, and none of the meanings for those names can really be associated with one sex or the other.
Strange how we judge some names for boys and some for girls when their meanings don't indicate either way.

'Skyla' should be spelt either Skylar (Scandinavian) or Schuyler (Dutch, pronounced the same was as Skylar).

If you're going to give a child a 'different' name then at least spell it right! Same goes for 'Tayla' (Taylor, obviously)
