Do you like this name? My BF can't decide if she likes it or not. She has a DD called Nicole and a DS called Jake.

I like it, my cousin is called Paige.

Also, can I yet again say, it is a person that is chavvy not a name.

Names do have associations though. That is why we ask for an opinion on them I suppose. You would make assumptions about siblings named Ptolemy and Araminta for example because of previous experiences/literature/class connotations.

Paige, while in itself a fine name does where I come from seem to be a name given to children brought up in certain areas with parents of a particular socioeconomic status.

All of that said, a person does become their name and their name does not define them. Your child will be whoever they are destined to be and you gift them with a name you like.

I really like Ptolemy and Araminta though.

I would consider using it as a middle name, but not as a first name, probably because I'd be afraid of getting reactions like the ones on here. It doesn't sound chavvy at all to me.
