FWIW, I don't think Arthur is that popular. Harry, Henry, George, Edward slightly more so (but still not millions of them). I do know about 5 Charlie's though.

I thought about Andrew but apparently men named andrew are far less likely to have a date!

Jake?

All suitable for shortening at a later date as well if so required

From your list I would say that only Charlie and Harry are very popular.

Edgar is a superb name.

Charile and Harry monstrously popular.

Report
Hullygully · 22/10/2009 16:52

Actually, Charile is relatively unused.

Hully

I have a Charlie, and whilst it suits him, if i had known how popular it was going to get, I might not have used it (I think Charlie and Lola, and the newer Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Film are to blame ......)

Jamie - Yes, it's a really nice name but there are millions (I have an Issy, and when we chose it there were none. There are three in her class alone now...).

I don't think it's that popular yet, although I know 2 under 3yrs, so may be getting more popular.
