Oscar - Slightly effeminate with a weasley face, a bit bookish.
Magnus - Strapping Swedish hulk. Professional life model. Pierces his own genitals.
Finn - Outdoorsy type. Sandy hair, disproportionately short legs. Prefers briefs to boxers.
Victor - Aloof and cold. Likes things to be lined up neatly. Wears a pinstripe morning suit.
Alasdair - Strange looking boy who grows up to be quite attractive. Works as an estate agent.
Dylan - Wears chinos. Terrible at spelling.
Archie - Cheeky chappie. Sleeps around. Tastes of marmite.

Oscar - my DS3
Magnus - mad (as in Pike) or Icelandic
Finn - short for Finlay
Victor - had a boyfriend called Victor and some of my more unkind friends called him "Vic the prick" although I knew another one later who was just lovely - Spanish so he said his name with a gorgeous accent
Alasdair - sounds like you've spelled Alistair wrong
Dylan - quite cool
Archie - the inventor

Oscar = big ears (don't ask me why!). Overambitious middle class parents trying too hard to be different. Sorry.

Magnus = magnificent, sexy, a bit arrogant.

Finn = cute but will never grow up.

Victor = definitely gay. Think purple silk bow ties.

Alasdair = the one who always got teased at school because of his ridiculous name. He's a loser.

Dylan = he'll have to try hard to be cool enough for his name.

Archie = again, will never really grow up.

I do like some of these names, honest, but you did ask
