...to go with Cecily (surname Innes so no P names) Is six letters asking too much? I did have Violet but DH refusing to commit and I want to give the bloody baby a name [pregnancy hormone alert]

I suggest Emily but then you'll have 2 'eee' ending names which some people don't like (my DD's both have 'eee' ending names btw!)

So Cecily is your chosen middle name?
Cos another 3syllable name would make it pretty long. I'm looking for 3syllable girls' names to go with my 1syllable middle name - but then our surname is long so....

Also beware of common sloppy pronunciation, things like Em'lee or Kath'rin

Naomi
Phillippa
Bethany (7)
Nicola (6)
Francesca
Louisa (6)
Erica
Eleanor (or Elinor if 6letters matters)
Angela (6 again!)
Lucia

Sorry- didn't make the point very well. I already have a DD who is called Cecily, hence the need for something to go with it. Got obsessed about the six letters from a name-on-the-door point of view....

I really am a control freak, aren't I?
