Would love some opinions on Audrey please.

Siblings are Iris, Pearl, Eli and Amos.

dh likes it a lot, but i sway from loving it, to not so much.

i love it, and I think it fit in really well with other DCs. grin

StealthPolarBear Sat 03-Oct-09 15:13:35

This is DD's (2 weeks old) middle name
Just a warning, in America they say "Oddery" - or that might just be Kiefer Sutherland!

belgo Sat 03-Oct-09 15:19:13

It's lovely, so is Audrina.

andlipsticktoo Sat 03-Oct-09 15:22:23

Sorry but I hate it. My neighbour is called Audrey and she is a total bully!

I love your other dc names though!

theagedparent Sat 03-Oct-09 15:23:41

Lovely name and goes beautifully with your other Dcs.

I love it, beautiful name. I wanted to name my next one that but my DH vetoed it, plus we are having a boy grin

purepurple Sat 03-Oct-09 18:07:00

It's my MIL's name grin
But, I do quite like it wink

AngryAndFedUp Sat 03-Oct-09 18:10:26

I love it! I really love Audra too which is slightly more modern imo.

I love your other DC's names too

I think I really like it... it does remind me of old church going ladies but it also makes me think of Audrey Hepburn and is a very classy name.

Hmm oh and there is the flower in little shop of horrors but maybe thats just me...

It goes really well with your DCs lovely names and, yeah, classy...

<stumbles off to add Audrey to own shortlist>

Audrey is lovely grin

Actually my MiL's name too. That's not a gainsayer tho as she is very nice.

I think it goes with yr others tunnytickler. Do you know it's a girl (thought you were looking for boys' names before?)

MrsKitty Sun 04-Oct-09 04:30:06

I like it. Makes me think of Hepburn & Little Shop of Horrors which I love (so it's not just you Katnkittens!) grin

dizzydixies Sun 04-Oct-09 08:11:46

I like it but then I'm a fan of Nancy too smile

holytoast Sun 11-Oct-09 21:12:37

Audrey is on my list - love Audrey Hepburn, and love the shorter 'Aude' - sounds a bit french!

just got to persuade dh - but convinced we are having a boy anyway!

My friend just called her daughter Nancy, love it.

It's my Nan's name (and my Mum's middle name), but it doesn't feel old to me. Due for a revival I think smile

hairymelons Sun 11-Oct-09 21:19:56

it's beautiful. I always think Hepburn.

Wattinger Sun 11-Oct-09 21:32:03

Audrey is a really lovely name and I think you have given your other children such great names too.

tearinghairout Sun 11-Oct-09 21:35:00

Reminds me of Audrey on Corrie rather than Hepburn!

Pyrocanthus Sun 11-Oct-09 21:50:35

Following a bit too hard on the heels of Blanche!

Perfectly nice name though.

Marioandluigi Mon 12-Oct-09 10:26:40

I think its lovely and very pretty. Its one of those names I would like to use but I can imagine DH turning up his nose to.

It goes very well with the other names too.

Mung Mon 12-Oct-09 10:28:09

Its classic, yet different...absolutely beautiful.

wildfig Mon 12-Oct-09 11:11:36

Love Audrey - it makes me think of Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks, and her minxy red lips and cardigans.

Bagabee Wed 05-Oct-11 22:57:21

I love it - beautiful and classy. But becoming a bit popular??
