I love the name Noah, Dh however really doesn't.

I love it. My only reservation in using it ourselves is the prospective of shouting "No, Noah" a hundred times a day throughout his toddler years... I had also read elsewhere on Mumsnet that it's becoming quite common (by which I mean popular!) but hopefully that doesn't put you off. It puts a lot of people off on these forums!

Go for it

I love Noah, but i do think its becoming very popular - its up to you whether this would put you off or not.

Noah Dance?? I'm afraid I wouldn't go with Noah if that was my surname.....

What about Leo instead? Don't know why but it just popped into my head.......I have a friend who can't use the name she has loved for years because of her surname, how cruel!!!

I love the name Noah, and if I have a 3rd DS that will be his name. Think my husband is coming round to trying for DC3 so may be one day ... (grin)

love it, have one of my very own people have said it's a bit hard to say with his surname (it begins with 'A' so you have to make a kind of pause between his first and last name or they join together) but people don't really go around calling you by your full name all day, do they? They don't to me anyway!

Love it - becoming very very popular though, it's in the top 5 in America and i've noticed a huge leap in popularity here - think it could be the next Jack or Alfie.

Nothing wrong with it... just can't see why it's so popular. Don't love it, don't hate it either.

But not sure with your surname.

I love it, DS is Noah and 'Noah no' is often passing my lips lol.
It was in the 2007 (maybe 2006?) Silver Cross Heritage catalogs top ten boys name part the back. Quite high up if i remember.
