I'm totally with Fleecy. Ellie can be short for Elinor which is completely different from Eleanor.

I have a cousin whose name is Elinoa (pronounced as it sounds EllieNoah). It's a Hebrew name.

Fenella is a name, but I would have thought Fenny or Nelly more likely nn. Elodie to me sounds like a Barbie story name. Just trying too hard to be prissy-pretty. I know a wonderful Elena (half-Spanish).
