Do you find 'Ruth' harsh sounding?

I just can't get past the Jasper Carrot sketch where he talks about when you've been sick and then you get to the bit where nothing is coming up and you are going 'ruuuuuuutttthhhh' - sorry, he's ruined the name for me!

I knew a girl at school everyone hated and sadly it tinged my view...but it's a fair enough name.

It's a shame that the word 'ruthless' has negative connotations when in fact it's the fatc there is a lack of 'ruth' int he situation that is so bad

It's a lovely name. Maybe sounds 'harsh' because we're in a pocket of time in which the vast majority of popular girls' names end in an 'ee' sound?
