This could be a problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=CsqnG-w3zIk

Note who sang it...

Well, it means dove in Spanish but also pigeon. There's the reference of Picasso's daughter but it reminds me more of the spotty faced pebbleglasses wearing whore who lived down the street from us...sorry

the jimmy saville + bird footage + jonathan king combination is jarring.

Pigeons = rats with wings .

She would always be listening to renditions of "una paloma blanca".

notsoteenagemum · 10/08/2009 09:48

No, it is a horses name. Apologies.

nancy75 · 10/08/2009 09:53

isnt the horse a palamino?

Report
MamaKaty · 10/08/2009 09:57

Sorry, I don't like it at all - and wouldn't it end up being shorted to 'Pal'(like the dogfood!)

MaggieBelleVirgo · 10/08/2009 10:03

I really love it.

The more I think of it, the more I like it. DH likes it, too. I think I'm going to steal it!

i was thinking it could be shortened to 'Loma'.

GrendelsMum · 10/08/2009 11:56

I think that's lovely.

But Loma sounds like 'lomo', and then I'm thinking slices of ham.

MamaLazarou · 10/08/2009 12:15

Thank you, blinks.

'Loma' would be a lovely nickname.

goomum · 10/08/2009 15:25

Lovely name . I think it means dove, which ain't half bad for a name

I do remember doing a Drum Majorette routine to it in a competition though , around 1977.... (don't let that put you off, we were very good )
