Apart from meaning 'of or pertaining to the city of Florence', I don't know if it's in any baby name books, it's not in either of mine anyway.

There's a Florentyna in a Jeffrey Archer book IIRC.

Found this on line.

Florentine - Origin and Meaning of the name

[ 3 syll. flo-ren-ti-ne, fl-orent-ine ] The girl name Florentine is pronounced FLAORahNTIYN KEY. Florentine's language of origin is Latin and it is predominantly used in German. Florentine is a variation of the Spanish, English, German, and Italian Florentina.

Florentine is not widely used as a baby name for girls. It is not in the top 1000 names.

I like it, it would make a nice name
