So we have a yellow bump I'm due 27th Oct. Although a yellow bump we are for some reason convinced we are having a boy. As a result are really strugling on girls names.

Boys:

Stanley - Would be shortented to Stan
Finley - Shortened to Fin

Finley was our fav but think its a bit common. Stan is really growing on me.

Girls:

Aisha - When trying to concive we always said if we had a girl she would be Aisha but now we have said it to a few people and not got the best reactions

Eve - My dad loves this name I quite like it too

Let me know which ones you think. More sujestions would also be welcomed too especially girls names.

Thanks

Finley and Eve.

Eve is particularly nice, not common but in no way wacky. If that helps.

Out of your choices I too would go for Finley and Eve.

How about Ava rather than Eve? Like Evie but its very popular now.

A yellow bump means we do not know the sex of our baby

I love Eve and Stanley! They are both so cool and timeless!

I know LOADS of Finley/Finlay's at the moment, so I'd stay clear of that one.

Finlay/Finley is very popular atm. You need to chose a name that you (and dp of course!) really love, not your Dad, imvho

I personally like Finlay and Eve (also like Eva).

A friend nearly picked Stanley for her little boy and really really regrets not having it!

Is Aisha pronounced Asha? If so, I like it.

Prefer Stan. Finlay's quite common these days, as is Eve and Evie

Don't like the boys' names though, sorry.

LOVE Stanley / Stan - this is top of my list if there is ever a ds2. it's the only name i heard after namng ds1 that i wished i'd used...

Fin - is quite sweet - but vvv popular round here

Aisha - don't like, there'd be all kinds of spelling issues?

Eve - sweet but again v popular. Eva/Ava mor unusual?

What about Fintan or Finbar, which can both be shortened to Fin? Finley = Fire Station (and a bit too popular here).

Eve too popular here (also Evie)

Don't like Aisha at all.

Stanley could be quite cool.
