no....go for it, it is a lovely name and was long before they used it. I also think Shalom is lovely and quite similar.

i really like the name Assisi but would be slightly put off for the same reason as OP because of Jade Jaggers daughter is called this and is 16 or something so i can just imagine her being a peaches or pixie geldof type and being all over the magazines....

there is a model called Shalom Harlow...i think she might have dne some films too. it means peace.

The little rasta boy (about 12) next door to us is called Shiloh. It's a lovely name, for a boy or girl, though people will probably think you have copied Brangelina.
