We have a son on the way. What does everyone think about the name Snozzcumber, after the vegetable from the Big Friendly Giant? My DH and I think it's soooo cute, and we just adore the idea of having a little baby boy we can call Snozz for short!

What does everyone think?

And the middle name? Cannot comment until I've heard the two together ...

I do love a good classic, traditional boy's name. Timeless.

I know two snozzcumbers - both lovely boys. I wanted it for our dd but dh was worried she'd be nicknamed 'snozz the prozz'

not unless the middle name is bert.

snozzcumber bert - goes together perfectly

We were thinking of the middle name Otis, so that we could call him Snozz O.

We seriously considered the name, but then chose something more unusual (Jack if anyone is interested. )

Don't like it. Sorry. But if you really love it, you should go for it

What about Whizzbang?

Snozzcumber Whizzbang is just divine.

You're right CQ.

You can never have too many Z's in a name, imo.

I wanted Slutbunwalla for DS but DH said no. I think he wanted something a little more unusual. I think he was concerned that there would be a whole class of them.

Depends on the surname, doesn't it? If you've got a short surname it should flow nicely but if the surname is more than 3 syllables it might be a bit of a mouthful.

Snozzcumber Bert is just divine.

I'm not so sure I like Snozzcumber Whizzbang. I'd be concerned people might not take that name very seriously, if you see what I mean? I do like that Snozzcumber Otis gives us more options.

Could you not invert it to Cumbersnozz just to ensure you don't end up putting him into a class full of them.

Unless everyone else tries to be original and it all backfires.

How about SnozKumba, so it'd be, like, a bit unusual?
