I'm not preganat yet but cannot stop thinking of baby names.

So indulge me (I've driven DH up the wall grin ) Georgia or Rosanna (Rosa for short)

Which do you prefer?

When you say popular do you mean chavvy?

I don't like the name Georgia at all. It's hard and common (popular).

Rosanna is lovely.

Don't like Georgia either... but quite like Rosanna (sounds more feminine).

Lulubee Wed 03-Jun-09 21:58:10

Prefer Rosanna, the shortenings are prettier. One of my faves actually.

Any other opinions? Seems Rosanna is most popular

A bit late in the day with my post, but much prefer Georgia. Rosanna makes me think of 80's TV series 'Roseanne' (showing my age). Georgia sounds upmarket and from my own experience, it's quite unusual and not common or chavvy in the slightest. I guess everyone has a different experience of a name. My little girl is called Georgia though, so I am biased! I meet a few other little Georgias very, very occasionally, but really not many. Rosie could be very nice though.
