Have a relative with this name and yes it's naff.

Fimbo Fri 22-May-09 16:13:50

Never ever will Keith be in fashion. I think someone on here knows a Keef. How about Heath?

Marne Fri 22-May-09 16:15:31

I went to college with a Keith, we called him cheggers and he was big (fat) lad who stank of BO.

Heated Fri 22-May-09 16:16:45

LOL 'no sex please, I'm Keith'

minko Fri 22-May-09 16:18:27

is your DS going to be in Boyzone....else no.....

fucksticks Fri 22-May-09 17:29:44

I do quite like Kevin this better?

Other names along the same lines maybe...

Bucharest Fri 22-May-09 17:31:22

I think it's worse than can't even say Keith out loud without being all nasal and pathetic sounding....Keeeeeeeeeth.
Urgh. It's revolting. It's more Nigel than Kevin. It's on a par with Doris and Janet.

Tinker Fri 22-May-09 17:33:22

I knew a really, really attractive one. Knew it though.

Weegiemum Fri 22-May-09 17:35:53

One of my best friends is a Keith. Lovely, lovely guy. But very very camp, so I always associate the name with that and would neve ruse it ....

lynniep Fri 22-May-09 17:37:08

oh no. DH's stepdad is Keith. It might be old fashioned, but its not good. My step-mum suggested I call our future DC 'Ian' the other day. I feel much the same about that...

Tinker Fri 22-May-09 17:46:44

Ian's awful.

KAEKAE Fri 22-May-09 18:06:50

I have always hated this reminds me of corned beef!

Tidey Fri 22-May-09 18:07:59

Dreadful. Please don't do it.
