DH loves it.

What do you think?

tummytickler Tue 12-May-09 14:46:11

Love it! Is it baby no5?

WallydollyHolly Tue 12-May-09 14:47:17

No, does that matter?

FearOfThePig Tue 12-May-09 14:48:24

kind of camp and nerdy at the same time. Does that matter? smile

hulabula Tue 12-May-09 14:51:25

Love it - there is a really cut 3 year old in my ds's nursery.

Seems to be becoming more popular.

malenagrrl Tue 12-May-09 14:51:57

It is OK.... What about Quinn?

MsMargotBeauregarde Tue 12-May-09 14:53:09

Camp, nerdy, posh, pretentious, but apart from that it's ok.

Prefer just quinn.

annasmami Tue 12-May-09 14:53:23

My son is Quentin so I'm biased! We've generally had very positive responses to his name!

othersideofchannel Tue 12-May-09 14:55:54

I like Quentin. Reminds me of Quentin Tarantino.

sophiesmummie Tue 12-May-09 14:58:02

Lovely name! I know a 6 month old and a 2 year old Quentin, so I also think it's becoming more popular.

nooka22 Tue 12-May-09 15:01:54

Very popular in France (top 10 until a year or so ago), although pronounced slightly differently.

sonniboo Tue 12-May-09 15:09:53

I like it. Reminds me of Quentin Blake and Quentin Tarantino - neither of which I associate with nerdy or camp!

Cadelaide Tue 12-May-09 15:12:28

Can't stand it (but that may have something to do with x-BIL so feel free to ignore! grin)

I love Quentin - classic and classy!

PrimulaVeris Tue 12-May-09 18:01:59

Uncle Quentin from Famous Five. As portrayed in 'Five Go Mad in Dorset' wink

noooo, sorry

tammytoby Tue 12-May-09 18:12:08

Seems to be one of those old fashioned names making a comeback. I know of two Quentin's under age two.

olliesmummy234 Tue 12-May-09 18:21:46

I like Quentin. Just added it to our list for ds2.

screamingabdab Tue 12-May-09 18:37:22

Sorry I hate it - but I hate "posh" names, unless one is posh wink

mopsyflopsy Tue 12-May-09 18:59:57

I quite like it actually. Don't think of it as particularly posh, perhaps because I know a lovely window cleaner with that name grin.

Also reminds me of Quentin Tarantino - not exactly posh either!

Poppity Tue 12-May-09 19:13:16

Quentin makes me smile, it's a lovely name

piscesmoon Tue 12-May-09 19:18:25

Sounds a bit 'wet' to me.

annasophia Tue 12-May-09 19:50:58

Love it, but then it's my ds2's name, so I am biased... grin.

WallydollyHolly Tue 12-May-09 19:53:13

Do you get a good reaction to it annasophia?

Tinker Tue 12-May-09 19:57:38

No. Think Quentin Crisp although youngsters won't. It'll seriously depend on where you live I think
