These are our top 3 girls names chosen for DD1 but we are desperately stuck on a second name to go with any of them...our surname begins with a H, so H names are out.
All and any suggestions please as she'll be arriving in a couple of weeks (well, hopefully ) and we're well and truly stuck...thanks

I feel they all lend themselves to longer names for MNs for example

Macey Cecelia
Macey Celeste
Macey Viola
Macey Elisabeth

Issey Charlotte (only because I know one)
Issey Georgina
Issey Camille

Gracie Matilda
Gracie Beatrice

OR once syllable

Gracie Belle
Macey Eve
Issey Boo

Sophia
Olivia

both nice with all 3

is there not a name from either sides of the family you could use?

i think id choose a name that means something to you -eg a family name because your child will love to hear the story behind it, whereas you may not say the name out loud very often

Still nothing taking our fancy...all our family names are crap, old fashioned or already used by other family members!!!
It's taken 8 months to decide that we both like these 3 (which we're still not convinced with truth be told)....I like lots of girls names, but DH is not quite so easy to convince

ok, has there been anything mentioned that you kind of like but not 100% on so we can get a feeling of what you like?

Erm...no

I like pretty names, other girls names we have considered (and not ruled out) are;

Harriet
Matilda
Jocelyn
Lottie
Edie

We are actually quite worried she won't have a name at all We had no trouble with boys names for DS, but girls names have always been an issue...Rarrrr!!

I said Matilda further up and Charlotte from which you get Lottie

and I think Camille, Beatrice, Cecelia and Celeste could all be considered 'pretty'

what about Josephine then? nn Josie or Posie?

I can't believe I'm up this late stressing about names...LOL
The names above would prob be Christian names....like I said, we're having a mare of a time trying to find something we both LOVE. There are lots of names we think are ok, but nothing has really struck us both as 'wow' DH stuck on Molly, and I'd like Lola.
Reckon this is why we're finding it so hard cos we're having to explore different Christian names we both think are ok.
Keep the suggestions coming

I have 3 DDs and have never been completely struck on any of their names but I can promise you they suit them right down to the ground!!

we had a couple of ideas but only fully discussed once the girls were here so we could see what suited them

don't try to narrow them down too much as you might just have one that fits as soon as you see her

Yeah, we said a few months back that we'll just wait and see what she looks like and what suits.
Think I'm just having a mad pregnant panic that we still won't know once she's here Bloody hormones

Good luck!

My Grace is Grace Frances Irene after her grandmother and great grandmother. The two second names are names we like but don't really love. But using them gave ENORMOUS pleasure to the people she's names after, and she loves the fact that she's got grandma and great grandma's names.
