What do we think of Liesha? Lacey? Libby? Lainey? Taree? Brooke Marie?

dibdabscribble Sat 01-Nov-08 15:01:34

Leisha. I like it.

janeite Sat 01-Nov-08 15:01:52

I really like Lacey and Libby. Really, really dislike the others though, sorry.

Bumperlicious Sat 01-Nov-08 15:03:47

Don't like any of them I'm afraid. Sorry! Maybe Libby, as short for Elizabeth.

mamalovesmojitos Sat 01-Nov-08 15:05:39

is it pronounced lee-sha? don't like the spelling but love the irish name laoise which is pronounced the same way.

libby is lovely, dislike the others a lot.

DoubleToilandTroubleBluff Sat 01-Nov-08 15:08:12

Dont like any of them

RagingHormone Sat 01-Nov-08 15:08:46

Ooo I love that spelling!!! I would definately spell it like that. My baby name book only spells it the way i put.

Does anyone know how to say Roisin? That's Irish isn't it?

dinkymum Sat 01-Nov-08 15:15:46

I think from your list i'd go with Libby.

DoubleToilandTroubleBluff Sat 01-Nov-08 15:16:40

Rowsheen - is a lovley name

RagingHormone Sat 01-Nov-08 15:17:21

I do like that actually. What other nice Irish names are there? I like Eoghan

Sazisi Sat 01-Nov-08 15:21:05

DD2's Roisin

Naoise is nice too.

I think Liesha sounds like Lisa with a speech impediment..

mamalovesmojitos Sat 01-Nov-08 15:25:34

oooh yes its lovely isn't it? i think it means radiant or something similar.

MrsMattie Sat 01-Nov-08 15:27:21

Libby's cute. The rest sound like the cast of 90210.

RachieB Sat 01-Nov-08 15:36:03

Libby, short for Elizabeth, is fine - others are very chavvy

Sazisi Sat 01-Nov-08 16:00:52

Quite like Lainey, pet version of Elaine

Sparkletastic Sat 01-Nov-08 16:04:57

All very common-sounding apart from Libby but obviously only as a pet-name for Elizabeth.

I am a total snob though

brimfull Sat 01-Nov-08 16:05:08

both nice

the rest nah, although Libby is nice but it's elizabeth

RagingHormone Sun 02-Nov-08 11:08:19

I'm not a chav and I don't think Libby or Brooke are the least bit chavvy. I hate it when people refer to names they wouldn't chose as chavvy. I don't like Elizabeth. I like Libby.

Nancy66 Sun 02-Nov-08 12:11:11

Probably best not to ask for opinions then.

Sorry, bar Libby, all the names you have chosen are pretty chavtastic.

CuppaTeaJanice Sun 02-Nov-08 12:13:47

Liesha makes me think of that Craig from the first Big Brother trying to say Lisa!

Libby is the best of your choices but I'd put Elizabeth on her birth certificate.

RagingHormone Sun 02-Nov-08 12:18:43

Nancy- No they're not.

Nancy66 Sun 02-Nov-08 12:24:59

It's a matter of opinion - you don't think they're chav and I do - but they're your choices so go with what you want.
