I'm having real trouble deciding. Which do you think and why? saying nooooooo isn't exactly helpful grin

Verity Ann has a nicer cadence I think, but it depends on your surname.

Chandra Sun 05-Oct-08 20:35:05

Verity ann, but then... which one of the two rhymes better with the surname?

Verity Ann - flows nicely.

Liffey Sun 05-Oct-08 20:36:41

Verity. Don't really like Caroline. It's really conservative but it doesn't have great nns like Elizabeht or Margaret. If you want conservative, do Eliza or Maggie or Margot.

Verity is just lovely though. I had that on my list for dc2 who has a willy, so you can have it!

NogginOfRum Sun 05-Oct-08 20:37:28

Love Verity Ann; it flows really well. Cute.

Caroline Verity sounds too slow when said, if you get what i mean. I think because they both have 3 syllables.

Verity Ann is lovely but better if you have a 2 syllable surname.

janeite Sun 05-Oct-08 20:38:53

Verity Ann - don't like Caroline as it sounds dated without being old fashioned enough to be cute again, if that makes sense. Besides, Verity is so pretty; it would be wasted as a middle name.

LynetteScavo Sun 05-Oct-08 20:39:35

Verity Ann smile

raindropsonroses Sun 05-Oct-08 20:41:29

Chandra and Nooka, they both go well with the surname. OH likes them both and is leaving it up to me angrygrin

Mylittlebubble Sun 05-Oct-08 20:45:18

Love Verity x

I like Felicity too which is simular

Szyslak Sun 05-Oct-08 20:46:17

I love Caroline. Think it is very classic and classy.

Verity is fine.

Don't get too hung up on first name and flowing middle name, you hardly ever get to say them together, it really doesn't matter.

My advice would be choose which ever name you like best as a first name and then personally, I go for a middle name with significance, more imporant to me than sound or flowing.

Just imosmile.

Another vote for Verity.

Jackstini Sun 05-Oct-08 20:47:33

But have Anne with an 'e' - much prettier imo

Liffey Sun 05-Oct-08 20:48:21

Yes, Queen Anne had a e.

combustiblelemon Sun 05-Oct-08 20:51:21

(not a nasty one, I assure you)

Moogatron Mon 06-Oct-08 13:57:42

Carline Verity sounds gorgeous. although I di like Ann too. All the Anns I know are great people! All the Veritys I know are a little brittle and the Carolines, lots of fun!

PonderingThoughts Mon 06-Oct-08 13:59:22

I give my vote to Verity Ann
