What mame could be shortened to "Bo", I don't know why, but I love the nickname Bo.
I like traditional, classic names inc old english but want to be able to shorten it to somthing really sweet.
I liked the idea of someone naming their son Hugo and for short "Huggs". That's what gave me the idea.

Huggs is a pet name, they use at home I guess. I think it's sweet for a little boy.

Beatrice would be Bea!!

Beau is a name in it's own right - I'd probably go for that if I loved the name - but Ulrika Johnson's dd is Bo and I don't think it's short for anything

you could call her wilhemina and shorten it to bo if you wanted - there are no rules about it.

I like Kathryn to but would like to shorten it to Katy or Kitty. I can't stand Kathy, it's dated.

Might have to give up on Bo, as I don't like any of the names.
I suppose a nickname can be anything.
My daughter is Lucy, but we call her

Lou Lou
Lulabell
Tink (as in tinkerbell)
and Pops (as in poppet)

We have an Isobel but often call her Boo - not too far removed from Bo?

Ulrika Johnsson has a daughter called Bo - perhaps it's short for a Swedish name?

Nicknames can be anything!
I had a friend at uni whose name was Claire but was known as Bella - was a chilhood nickname which she preferred to Claire so it stuck.

Call her anything you like and call her Bo at home.

Bo is a Swedish name in its own right. I think it's more of a boy's name, though.

I know an Isabella who is shortened to Ba. (hmm]
So you could probably call her Isabella / Isabel/ Isobel and shorten it to Bo just as easily?
I also think you could probably get away with Beatrice shortened to Bo too.
Your baby, your name, YOU say what she gets to be called!
