What mame could be shortened to "Bo", I don't know why, but I love the nickname Bo.
I like traditional, classic names inc old english but want to be able to shorten it to somthing really sweet.
I liked the idea of someone naming their son Hugo and for short "Huggs". That's what gave me the idea.

Beau is a name in it's own right - I'd probably go for that if I loved the name - but Ulrika Johnson's dd is Bo and I don't think it's short for anything

I like Kathryn to but would like to shorten it to Katy or Kitty. I can't stand Kathy, it's dated.

I suppose a nickname can be anything.

I had a friend at uni whose name was Claire but was known as Bella - was a chilhood nickname which she preferred to Claire so it stuck.

Call her anything you like and call her Bo at home.

Bo is a Swedish name in its own right. I think it's more of a boy's name, though.

So you could probably call her Isabella / Isabel/ Isobel and shorten it to Bo just as easily?
I also think you could probably get away with Beatrice shortened to Bo too.
