I like Fred for a boy and Dh wants Angus.

Could we combine the two and call him Fungus?

Fred is cool. Angus is a beefburger.

Jic Mon 15-Sep-08 23:26:41

i agree with charx-fred is a cool name so simple and straightfoward that's the feeling i get from it anyway- don't like freddy though
and what's more it'll be brilliant for when he is old too- a name so cool it goes from newborn through to pensioner! don't you think though sometimes that some kids will have to cope with such unusal name sthat are great when they are young but when they;re old it will be so strange to call them it, and vice versa i guess

go for fred, forget angus! grin

Lunette Mon 15-Sep-08 23:28:09

Yes, it's lovely! But then I'm biased, as DS9 is called Fungus! smile

charx Mon 15-Sep-08 23:32:42

Jeez Lunette - tell me thats DS aged 9 not 9th child!

Jic Mon 15-Sep-08 23:36:27

right back at you charx-

Lunette Mon 15-Sep-08 23:43:49

Er... I was joking! I don't really have a DS called Fungus. Or 9 DC's.

Jic Mon 15-Sep-08 23:51:27

phew, and phew Lunette

lol findus!!!!! rofl! What a funny post!

But I love both names!

BlueChampagne Tue 16-Sep-08 13:19:54

Use both - so long as they don't make an unsuitable acronym with your surname.
