Malachai ?

My mums friend is currently fostering a little boy called Malachai, or Malaki, not sure how it is spelt.

My sister and i remember a film called "children of the corn", and everytime my mums friend calls him by his name,we shudder! Anyone who has seen the film will know why!

Just wondering if there is any childs name from a horror story which would prevent you from using it. Damien (which i love btw) is another one i just couldnt bring myself to use.

when I was younger I always said if I had a baby boy I would call it Joseph Malachai.

Weirdly my OH's favourite boys name is Joseph. I probably won't use Malachai but I LOVE it.

My sil's son is called Damon, and she gets very if anyone calls him Damien . So of course my OH does that just to wind her up!!
