shinyshoes Sun 31-Aug-08 11:41:11

<clutching at straws>

You weren't alone Peapod. Willow is nice and Piper is okay, but the rest...shudder.

Then again, sounds like she has some questionable views on life so not really surprised she's got crap taste in names.

Peapodlovescuddles Sun 31-Aug-08 11:43:26

republican vp candidate, ie there is a very real possibility this woman is going to be just a 72 year old heartbeat away from being the most powerful person in the world!

cornsilk Sun 31-Aug-08 11:44:03

who is she?

mumblechum Sun 31-Aug-08 11:46:28

Apparently she called her eldest Track as she loves running so much hmm.

Piper and Willow are just about ok, but the others.

Well, she is American.

She sounds like a female version of Ronald Reagan to me

Baby names not important when we are dealing with a creationist, anti-abortion devotee of the NRA who does not believe that global warming is a man made phenomenon wiki

Ah right, I know now who she is. I ahve stopped lsitening to the news about the US presidential elections, mainly becasue I don't understand any of it.
Of course she was only chosen because the Presidentail candidate thought she would get him all the woman votes, he didn't choose her becasue she's any good.
IMO anywaygrin

saltire Sun 31-Aug-08 11:49:01

Probably just as well she doesn't like sex as much or the child might have been called shag!grin

MatNanPlus Sun 31-Aug-08 11:49:06

At the bottom it explains the names, ages 18y-4months, youngest Trig has DS

oh yes, and her favourite food is caribou hotdogs... Caribou which she personally slaughtered!

Boco Sun 31-Aug-08 11:50:07

I wonder if she named Trig after the character in Only Fools and Horses. And Bristol kind of means tit doesn't it.

Mamazon Sun 31-Aug-08 11:51:03

trust me, her odd choice in baby names is just the tip of the iceburg.

she is a total fruitcake.

KerryMum Sun 31-Aug-08 11:51:19

Had I named my kids after thing I liked dooing, I'd have a little Cross-Stitch and Reading.

LOL

What wanktastic names in that list

KerryMum Sun 31-Aug-08 11:56:32

Ack.

I am so not following the elections over there. It will just make me shudder.

People ask me if I'll ever move back to the states.

Not while republicans are in power. And it was a big mistake putting obama up. Hilary had a chance against the republicans. obama does not.

differentID Sun 31-Aug-08 12:01:58

pmsl mb- that's hysterical.

SoupDragon Sun 31-Aug-08 12:13:13

Is that pronounced Reeding or Redding, MB??

differentID Sun 31-Aug-08 12:14:24

And shouldn't it be x-Stitch?

suedonim Sun 31-Aug-08 12:16:35

Oh, MB, Reading is open to so many connotations. Could be where you were when dc was conceived, or even what you were doing when conception took place! grin

'Bristol titty' is rhyming slang for norks, non?
