Oscar is lovely; don't like Harrison or Harri at all. William is v sweet as a middle name and Oscar William goes well together. My favourite boys' names (fwiw) are Rowan, Luke and Gabriel.

Here's a starter for you. Who is your favourite actor/singer/writer?

Mine are James (Stewart)/Damien (Rice)/John (Irving). (Obviously not Damien as he was the Omen child).

well my favourite name was george but that is my father in law's name so my dad would never forgive me!!! william is my husbands name and love it sooo much im actually quite mad he has it!! but at least thats the middle name sorted.i also liked max but i dont really want a name that is a shortened version of something and dont like maximus etc.would also like to stay away from the normal thomas/peter/mark/anthony etc etc.maybe im just being too fussy!!!

I love Joseph too

There is always something to scupper a name choice- pet, family member etc. In my case it was the fact that I have worked with hundreds of children and associate many names with poor behaviour

We have an Oscar William too.

I think Oscar's becoming quite popular now... but I love it. It's a strong name with a lot of history behind it.

I love William as a first name too. Also Robert, Edward and Louis.

Oscar William is great

Really not keen on Harri William. People will assume you named your ds after the royal family!
