Is Cordelia too posh?

I would use Cora as a shortening. Just worried it might be too poncey.

It is posh, yes. But I do quite like it anyway . I once worked with a very posh 'Cordi'. She was super beautiful and cool.

Cora is a lovely name, btw - in it's own right.

it has connotations of posh - but is still lovely - don't let that put you off using it, as it is a classy Shakespearian name.

I know a Cordelia, she is a very strong beautiful women and the name really suits her. Its a nice name.

I think Cordelia is posh, yes. Not too posh though - IMO its gorgeous!

just to go against the grain - I think it is uber posh!

but I think that would also depend on what you and your family are like. A posh person saying Cordelia is off the scale posh but a less posh person might make it sound more 'normal' iyswim.

Cora is nice though.

Shorten it to Coco, dd has friend at ballet called Cordelia and gets called Coco, v sweet although they are uber posh

I think - very posh. Also very 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' but that's a generational thing.

But it is a nice name
