Just wondering? I have always liked Tabitha, Martha, sebastian. I know an Arthur and Monty. What would you class as a posh name and also as an embarrasing name!

don't reallt think any of the names you have suggested are posh!! I guess we are all different.

Caspar is nice but just reminds me of 'the friendliest ghost!!'

Ralph? Rupert? I once nannyed for 2 boys called Edgar and Humphrey.

Mungo and Hector? As witnessed in park yesterday, thought they were quite posh.

zippitippitoes Sun 11-May-08 22:38:36

i still read your name as south east asia

strawberriesandcream01 Sun 11-May-08 22:39:35

Yes I knew a Mungo too. Hector?! I used to ride a pony called Hector.

southeastastra Sun 11-May-08 22:39:54

it's the same as califi said, it's a werid surname

DontCallMeBaby Sun 11-May-08 22:40:58

Hector was about 3, bless him, and did NOT want me to help him down from the climbing frame. I think it's a name he'll grow into.
