Amy - Aimee is a bit of a fad from the 80s/90s. It also tempts people to pronounce it in a quasi-French style with a stress on the second syllable, eg. Ay-^mee^. (Unless that’s what you want of course.)

I prefer Aimee. I think it's the French spelling? But guessing Amy will be easier for your little one in the sense she won't have to forever spell out her name.

Beautiful name btw, I don't know any young Amy / Aimee's

I'm an Amy and never get asked how to spell my name. I can only assume and other variation just gets spelt incorrectly
