A brother for Dorothy

Finding it hard to find a boy name that we like for new baby who will be a little brother to Dorothy. Obviously, we like a more traditional style name. I can think of loads of girls names that we’d use but have just found out baby is a boy so need to get thinking about a boy name and not feeling very inspired!
Middle name will most likely be Alfred (for my grandfather).

I was going to say exactly this combination too. Dorothy makes me instantly think Ted (Edward).

Ted. Dorothy and Ted sounds divine!

Dick and Angela Strawbridge (DIY Château people on channel 4) have Dorothy and Arthur.

I did not see this comment (or the subsequent one) when I commented!

Seems Dot and Ted just go together.

I use to swim with twins called Dorothy and Rueben. Dot and Roo. I don’t know if it’s because I now them as a duo but it always seemed a nice pairing.

They also had a brother called Theodore, nicknamed Ted.

Sorry, but I’m not keen on Dot and Ted, simply when you say them quickly sounds like ‘Dotted’ and some Children can be cruel with nicknames!
