What are your favourites and least favourites?
What do you think of them?
How many can you list?
Would you use one for a DC? First or middle name?

Etc Smile would love to get people's thoughts on nature names. DaffodilFlowersStar

I love names meaning Light, Sky and Stars like Dawn, Estella, Celeste.
River is beautiful although I would be reluctant to use it for a first name.
Acacia, Rose, Fox are beautiful imo but I'm not brave enough to use Fox

Are you including flower names? If so, then I love Amaryllis.

I tend to find subtle nature names more useable - like Sylvie, Cassia and Gaia for girls (very ancient Roman/Greek as much as they are nature linked) and Heath for boys (surname trend/literary name as well as nature), or maybe even Leif (Scandi and should be pronounced "Layf", but is said more like naturey "Leaf" in some places).

Having said that, I think some flower names are fairly classic sounding (Rose, Lily, Iris) or very elegant (Dahlia, Jessamine), and I have a soft spot for popular Rowan and Willow and cool sounding River.

I have a Violet and a Cassie (not really a nature name in itself but there's lots of nature names that sound very similar - Cassis, Cassia, Cassiopeia...)

If I have another little girl I really love the names Sunny and Fauna.
For boys I love Asher (nickname Ash) and Robin.
