I think Isabelle is much nicer than Isabella . No reason, I just vastly prefer it.

Isabella as she is unlikely to have to spell her name for people. Isabelle will likely get Isabel or Isobel quite often, which could annoy her.

Chilldonaldchill Mon 22-Feb-21 22:40:56

I prefer Isabella to Isabelle but Isabel to Isabella.

Firebird83 Mon 22-Feb-21 23:21:29

Isabelle. I would prefer Isobel Rose though.

Isabella by far

JungOwlWan Wed 24-Feb-21 19:46:41

Isobel Rose is nicer. Being a bit Scottish I would prefer Isobel Skye.

There were a lot of Isabelle/Isobel/Isabel/Isabellas about 15-20 years ago. She might feel that her name dates her.

ftmum94 Wed 24-Feb-21 20:47:48

Isabella Rose but I do love Belle as a nickname

BallsToYouSue Wed 24-Feb-21 21:18:57

Isabelle Rose, but both are nice smile

frozenita Wed 24-Feb-21 21:25:56

I think Isabelle is classier

WaxOnFeckOff Wed 24-Feb-21 22:37:26

If you are stuck with those spellings then it'll have to be isabella as I don't like that spelling of isobel.

What @WaxOnFeckOff said.

JustanotherTuesday Thu 25-Feb-21 00:34:12

Isabella is much nicer.

Nell96 Thu 25-Feb-21 07:30:39

Isobel is much nicer. From your suggestions, Isabelle - I find Isabella much too 'frilly'.

helpmum2003 Thu 25-Feb-21 07:33:23

Both lovely but I'd go for Isabella because Isabelle will have spelling issues.

Cindie943811A Thu 25-Feb-21 22:32:53

Isabella Rose sounds like a question to which the answer is “no”.
Might be cause for teasing.
