Start using Mumsnet PremiumCelina - long middle name suggestions?
(15 Posts)Which one of these do you like and has the best flow? Can you suggest any others which could work in Indian culture and are maybe longer, 3 or 4 syllables? I really love long names like
Alessandra, Seraphina, Valentina, Francesca etc but can’t use these because they don’t have any links / are uncommon in the Indian culture. Celina is popular in the Indian community so it still works but I wish it could be longer!
Celina Maya
Celina Priya
Celina Shreya
Celina Ellora
Anoushka?
My first thought before I even clicked on the thread was Celina Alexandra. Then saw you would like it to have an Indian connection.
My choice from your list would be Celina Maya or Celina Priya.
I have a friend called Priyanka, Priya for short. Would that work?
Rebecca
Shivani
Evanshi
I am not Indian, and do not have any connections to Indian culture, but I have come across a lady called Hemangini. I think it means Jasmine in Hindi.
Anjali
Mythili
Himanthi
Ragini
Celina Mirabai
Celina Arundhati
Celina Yasmin
Celina Maryam
Celina Maya
Celina Saudamini would be a pretty name.
Celina Ananya
Is there an Indian name beginning with C (other than Celina) that you like? Since you are using the Celina spelling I think the potential for the nn Cece would be very cute.
Alexander the Great was defeated by the Indian Emperor Chandragupta Maurya.
Sorry pressed post too soon - would Celina Maurya work?
Celina Radhika
Celina Priyanka
Celina Persephone (first one that came into my head based on title and not having read your post)
