... Franklin? If so, how old are they?

Curious also about the nicknames Frankie (for a boy) and Frank and whether you've met anyone with those names?

Yes, I know some Franks. Frankie is a Francesca, Franc is early 30's, and the Franks are retired. I think they are Francis on bc.

Frances is Fran.

No Franklins AFAIK

It's too american for me.

Several Franklins, all American, ranging from a ten year old to a slightly going to seed former football player in his forties.

The Franks I know are all English or Irish and in their 60s or older. I'd rank it with Keith, Nigel or Malcolm.

I've taught a Frank. He was lovely - a real character! Fond associations.

Yes, but variations in languages. I'm 35 and one was about 47 and the other one is in his mid 20's?

Also a 3 year old Frank

I don’t know any Franklins. I know one Frank, he is seven and in my DD’s class at school. He is Mr Charisma and my daughter is most violently in love with him.

Sorry, but it mkes me think of an elderly BBC radio presenter en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Engelmann , plus the deluded people here:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeman_on_the_land who also use the word 'franklin'.
